MMA’s two biggest promotions will go head-to-head on Jan. 25.

The UFC on Monday announced its first trip to Raleigh, N.C. for a card that will take place the same night as Cris Cyborg’s Bellator debut against Julia Budd.

No fights have been confirmed for the UFC’s card, which takes place at PNC Arena, home of the North Carolina State Wolfpack basketball team and the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes.

The UFC has visited the Tarheel State several times in the past, most recently with a UFC on FOX card in Charlotte, N.C., in January 2018. This time around, the UFC lands in Raleigh with a show taking place one week after the expected return of Conor McGregor on Jan. 18.

The newly minted card will have competition that night; Bellator plans a major card on the other side of the country with a show set to take place at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

Bellator’s show will feature former UFC featherweight champ Cyborg in her first fight after leaving the UFC as she competes for Bellator’s featherweight belt against champ Budd in the main event.

Tickets for the UFC event go on sale on Dec. 6, although no main event has been confirmed.
