A middleweight matchup between Marvin Vettori and Karl Roberson has been rebooked one month after it was originally scheduled to take place.

Multiple people with knowledge of the booking told MMA Fighting the middleweights will meet on June 13 at a UFC event expected to take place in Las Vegas, likely the APEX Center where UFC President Dana White said the promotion could reside for the foreseeable future as the coronavirus pandemic continues. The people requested anonymity because the news had not been made public.

Roberson was forced to bout out of UFC Jacksonville less than 24 hours before the May 13 event due to complications from his weight cut; his coach said he was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis and was forced to go to the hospital. Roberson and Vettori nearly came to blows after a confrontation in the host hotel that went viral.

In separate interviews with MMA Fighting, Roberson sought to rebook the fight, while Vettori wanted only for an opponent to show up after a previously scheduled bout at UFC London was canceled. Now, they’ll get a chance to settle their score.

The June 13 event originally was scheduled as a Fight Night event in Kazakhstan before the coronavirus pandemic. UFC 250, originally scheduled for June 6, has not officially been rescheduled.
