Less than two weeks after calling out former UFC title contender Bethe Correia, Pannie Kianzad was granted her wish, as the bantamweights are targeted to meet at the upcoming UFC 250 card in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on May 9. Ag. Fight first reported the match-up.

Kianzad (12-5) is coming off a decision victory over Jessica-Rose Clark at UFC Moscow, her first win inside the Octagon since competing at The Ultimate Fighter 28 as a featherweight. “Banzai”, who made it to the reality show final in 2018, defeated the likes of Lina Lansberg and Milana Dudieva in her pre-UFC days.

Correia (11-4-1) recently bounced back to the winning column with a decision over Sijara Eubanks in Mexico City, putting an end to an uncomfortable three-fight winless skid. “Pitbull” holds key UFC victories against Jessica Eye, Shayna Baszler and Julie Kedzie.

UFC 250 will take place at Sao Paulo’s Ibirapuera gymnasium and air live on pay-per-view. The company has yet to announce the main event, but two other match-ups have been set for the card: Ketlen Vieira vs. Marion Reneau and Blagoy Ivanov vs. Augusto Sakai.
